Life in the guild

back from? i forgot since when i stop playing pw, last i check guilds dead right?

I guess it's full of zombies who play every day

It's just a little sleepy lately

Yesterday it was pretty much dead^^

And today it was down to just one online for a while. Where is everybody?

Some people are on vacation or doing other things, and it doesn't help that some people just up and quit guild on us, that just makes the problem worse.....

So yeah, I guess your talking about me - but ur kinda completely wrong. Yeah I did quit guild when there was only like 3 People online the whole day. But I did quit, cause I wanted to pk some^^. My WR is still in guild and I was online for atleast a few hours on him yesterday. I told a couple peeps why I left and even told them "tell Jez and Dani Ill be back soon" - so yeah, I bet no one did xD. Kinda as expected when everyone is "afk". If there are any further Problems/Questions regarding me, kindly write me an private message. If that all wasnt about me <-- ignore all this

It was just a general comment. In some cases I've asked people after they left us why they left, and been told it was because not enough are online.... so by leaving us they make the problem worse and that's just frustrating. We have peak times and low times and people go through real life situations that cause them not to be on sometimes, plus the whole server is so much quieter than it used to be so it's hard to keep it as busy and active all the time, but we do our best and I think for the most part we do pretty damn good.

Oh, and as far as people not being online - I won't be on for the entire week starting July 23rd until sometime on the 31st, I'm going out of town to visit my brother and leaving my laptop at home. I might check in with Dani on msn through my phone but even that will be limited.

This forum is for guild members and our friends, and a friend of the guild wouldn't be trying to cause trouble. Maybe you should troll on the forum your active chars are in and they'll be more receptive of that, we don't need that here. Take care and good luck with that.

I had exactly the same screen over the last week as well. It didnt matter at what time I came online, it was always just me online

Keep trying. Last night there were about 6 on and active all at the same time. Woohoo!

I've kind of lost interest since Cloud and Dani haven't been playing, but I've been more busy irl too so that's a good thing. I don't see myself getting into it again and when I do log once in a while just to see if people are still there it's so laggy I just log right back off.

The lag has been a very on-and-off issue, for me anyway. I generally get a ping of around 700 mm, give or take, but sometimes as high as 9000 mm, and it has been as low as 250 mm. Sometimes I see ppl complaining of terrible lag when I'm not laggy at all, so it would seem that that has more to do with local node overload that with the actual server response.


Speaking of which, why does PW measure lag in millimeters? It doesn't really make much sense.

I would say it is a "translation error" xD

Yup so your lag of 5000mm is really 5m

5m is actually pretty good. Since the equivalency between time and space is 1 sec = 299792458 meters, 5m works out to about 0.0000000166782 sec.

so then when it says you have 5000mm then its really not that bad

When it says lag is 5000mm, I don't believe it. It lies. So it's bad two ways: It's laggy, and it's wrong.

ofc, if I really cared about PW making mistakes, I probably wouldn't be here.

LOL, already have approximately 30 bank chars. My WA is fun to play, already level 48 without even trying very hard. I love that rez buff, it's already saved some of my mains more than once. I can scarcely wait to level up to where it's a level 10 buff.
